Three women are facing federal charges for allegedly trailing an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent from his Los Angeles office to his home and livestreaming the pursuit on Instagram. Prosecutors say the group not only broadcasted the chase but also shared the agent’s address and alerted neighbors that he worked for ICE.

The indictment, returned by a grand jury and announced Friday, September 26th, names Cynthia Raygoza, 37, of Riverside; Ashleigh Brown, 38, of Aurora, Colo.; and Sandra Carmona Samane, 25, of Panorama City. Brown remains in custody on both the conspiracy charge and a separate count of assaulting a federal officer. Samane was released on $5,000 bond, while Raygoza is still being sought. Court hearings are scheduled for September 30 and October 9.

According to filings, the August 28 incident involved Instagram accounts “ice_out_of_la,” “defendmesoamericanculture,” and “corn_maiden_design.” Prosecutors allege the women used the accounts to provide directions, encourage viewers to share the stream, and reveal the agent’s address.

Acting U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli condemned the conduct, saying it endangered law enforcement families. Each defendant faces up to five years in prison on each count if convicted. Homeland Security Investigations is leading the probe.
