President Donald Trump unveiled TrumpRx.gov Thursday, a new federal website designed to provide Americans with lower prices on more than 40 high-cost prescription medications. The launch event at the White House included Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz and National Design Studio Director Joe Gebbia, who demonstrated the platform’s features.

Trump emphasized that the platform delivers dramatically discounted prices through Most-Favored-Nation agreements with leading pharmaceutical companies, ensuring U.S. prices align with the lowest in other developed nations. “This is a very big deal. People are going to save a lot of money and be healthy,” Trump remarked.

Among the medications available, GLP-1 treatments for weight management saw substantial reductions. Monthly prices for Ozempic and injectable Wegovy dropped from $1,028 and $1,349, respectively, to an average of $350 and as low as $199, depending on dosage. The Wegovy pill’s monthly price fell from $1,349 to as low as $149. Zepbound decreased from $1,088 to an average of $346, with some dosages reaching $299.

Fertility medications, often paid entirely out-of-pocket, also experienced notable savings. Gonal-F is available for as low as $168 per pen, down from $966, while Cetrotide fell from $316 to $22.50 and Ovidrel dropped from $251 to $84. Dr. Oz highlighted the potential impact, noting, “One in three families is having trouble having a baby. We’re gonna have a lot of Trump babies with these costs, folks cannot afford these medications. It’s gonna change their lives”
