On Wednesday morning, September 24th, a shooting at the Dallas U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office left three people injured. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons said “preliminary information is a possible sniper,” and the victims were taken to a hospital.

Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed on X that the suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot. She added that, while details are still emerging, multiple injuries and fatalities have been reported and highlighted the increasing dangers faced by ICE personnel.

Officials have not identified the victims or confirmed if they are ICE employees. Investigators are still working to determine the motive.

This is a developing story.
