Cuomo highlighted the need for clear, fact-based conversation amid a polarized political climate. “Pulse of the People is about cutting through the noise and the rancor to have real, substantive, fact-based conversations about the issues that actually affect people’s lives,” he stated, adding that the program reflects his longstanding focus on problem-solving and effective governance.

Station owner John Catsimatidis emphasized the show’s focus on public engagement, saying it will center on “listener calls and open discussion about the issues, concerns, and views of New Yorkers.” Chad Lopez, president of 77 WABC Radio, pointed out that “The Pulse of the People builds on that tradition by expanding opportunities for the public to participate directly in conversations about the issues that matter most to New Yorkers.”
