Walmart is combining its Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus memberships into a single $120 annual package, offering shoppers nearly $100 in savings compared with purchasing the memberships separately.
Walmart President and CEO John Furner said the new membership aims to attract budget-conscious consumers ahead of the holiday shopping season as households continue to manage rising living costs.
The combined package includes access to member-only prices at Sam’s Club, free delivery benefits from both retailers on eligible orders, and discounts of 10 cents per gallon on fuel at participating stations. Members can also choose a subscription to Peacock or Paramount+ and earn rewards on eligible Sam’s Club purchases.
The offer costs $120 annually, equivalent to $10 per month, although customers must pay for the full year.
The move strengthens Walmart’s competition with Amazon Prime and Costco as retailers seek to attract shoppers looking for greater value on groceries, household essentials and other everyday purchases.
