Federal immigration authorities have begun arresting some individuals accused of overstaying their visas at airports across the United States, marking an expansion of immigration enforcement at major travel hubs.
According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is working with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to identify travelers who remain in the country after their visas have expired.Â
