Marco Rubio was sworn in as the 72nd U.S. Secretary of State on Tuesday, January 21st, following unanimous Senate confirmation. So we’re hopeful, but I think we need to be realistic about what we’re dealing with here.”

While supporting Ukraine, he acknowledged the conflict’s broader impact on European stability. Rubio also commented on President Trump’s controversial pardons for January 6 defendants, sidestepping the debate by stating that his focus remains on foreign policy.
